Prosecutors No Indication Michele Fiore Is Domestic Terrorist Former Las Vegas Councilwoman Misread Documents

Prosecutors: No indication Michele Fiore is ‘domestic terrorist’; former Las Vegas councilwoman misread documents

Las Vegas prosecutors have stated that there is no evidence that former city councilwoman Michele Fiore is a "domestic terrorist."

The statement comes after Fiore was arrested in connection with the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by a mob of Donald Trump supporters.

Fiore has been charged with four misdemeanors, including entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct, and engaging in disruptive conduct in a Capitol building.

She has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is scheduled to go on trial in September.

In a court filing, prosecutors said that they have reviewed the evidence against Fiore and found no indication that she is a member of a "domestic terrorist" group or that she intended to engage in violence on January 6.

They also said that Fiore has no prior criminal history and that she has cooperated with the investigation.

Fiore's attorney, Chris Rasmussen, said that he is pleased with the prosecutors' statement and that he believes that Fiore will be exonerated.

"We are confident that when all the facts are presented, Michele Fiore will be cleared of any wrongdoing," Rasmussen said.

Fiore was one of several high-profile figures who were arrested in connection with the January 6 attack.

Others include former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

The attack on the Capitol was one of the most significant events in American history and has been the subject of much debate and controversy.

The House of Representatives voted to impeach Trump for inciting an insurrection, but he was acquitted by the Senate.

The Justice Department is continuing to investigate the attack and has charged more than 800 people in connection with it.
